It's been a while! Teer took an unexpected hiatus the past several years, band members focused on their families. We hope to return soon.

I want to wish everyone a happy new year and a successful 2018! Teer had a great 2017 working on new music. One of the highlights of the year was Teer opening for our heroes Dokken in St. Pete, Florida. We have plenty of shows coming up so stay tuned!

Teer is working on new material and will hopefully be releasing an EP in the near future. Live shows will be less frequent for the time being, one exception being our annual set at the Toys for Tots Benefit held at the Zephyrhills Moose Lodge November 19th, 2016. We have a great show with a legendary metal band coming up next year, but we can't release details yet.

After a successful performance at 80's in the Park in August 2015, Teer was offered a slot on the prestigious Rocklahoma Festival in May 2016. We are very honored to be on the three day bill with the likes of the Scorpions, Megadeth, Disturbed, Sixx A.M., Rob Zombie, Steel Panther and so many more. We thank Retrospect Records for this amazing opportunity. More shows and festivals are in the works.

A lot has been going on behind the scenes concerning various projects, and it appears that I once again will be performing and recording regularly. Teer is set for a comeback, as we will be performing at 80's in the Park in Melbourne, Florida with a ton of classic 80's / early 90's bands. Check out the "Shows" section of the site for more details. Additionally, negotiations are ongoing for a new Millenium album to occur sometime in the future.

I'm please to announce my involvement with the Metal for Cancer project (www.metalforcancer.com).  In the coming months an all-star version of a classic rock song will be released featuring many guest vocalists and guest solos by some of the best guitarists in metal (Ralph Santolla, Bill Hudson and Stu Marshall to name a few). A compilation CD comprised of songs donated for this project will be released as well.  Thanks to Richard Ofsoski (who heads the charity and pours his heart and soul into the music and funding cancer research) for inviting me to join forces with him in battling cancer. Please visit the Metal for Cancer website and support them, they are doing great work.

Thanks to everyone that made the Teer reunion show in memory of our dear friend Mike Russell such a huge success. As a result of the massive show of support for the band, we are considering at least a part-time comeback. There is a possibility of new Teer material and shows.

Work continues on the new CD by Voz (which includes drummer and namesake of Teer, John Teer). Tentatively titled "The Priest", the new Voz CD will present a new side of the band that should appeal to a wide variety of fans of heavy rock and metal.

Work has also begun on a new Millenium CD. I recently have been writing with Ralph Santolla and getting ideas together for this monumental project. Ralph and I are committed to making this latest chapter of the Millenium discography an instant classic.
